US Publishers Private Limited appointed eTeam to redevelop their B2B Yellow Pages Directory Application. The project delivery is scheduled for mid September 2008.

eTeam donated its complete range of multimedia products to SMB Fatima Jinnah Government Girls Schools Karachi. The school was last year adopted jointly by Neem Tree Schools, Zindagi Trust and The BookGroup. The objective of this project is to improve government owned schools and make them compete with private school systems.

www.lrbt.org.pk was launched on the day when CEO LRBT Mr. Najmus Saquib Hameed was interviewed by Nadia Khan in her live morning show on GEO Television Pakistan’s leading news and entertainment channel. The viewers were asked to visit LRBT website to know about LRBT and its achievements in giving free eye care and treatment to over 14 million Pakistanis in last 25 years.

e-Boutique was build to assist Boutiques run efficiently and profitably. It is specifically designed to help boutiques keep track of items and manage item sales. Date, raw material used and other job order details are recorded in the system for any future reference. All finished products are bar-coded and received by outlets to become part of their inventory. To secure the system further, all outlets are synchronized with a web based central database to keep critical data at a remote server away from any intervention from outlet staffs.

Aijazz Boutique and Aijazz.com adopted e-Boutique system to run their business in Pakistan. The system will be live on Aijazz outlets in July 2008.

eTeam has officially launched its upcoming portal KhaoPeyo.com Survey Website on 2nd of June 2008. The launch ceremony was at eTeam office in Karachi. Chairman eTeam Mr. Arshad Khalil in his comments set the portal launch date as 1st October 2008 the day when eTeam will also celebrate the completion of its 1st year in business.

What is KhaoPeyo.com? The portal intends to create an Online Food Street, a place from where people can order food from all the major food chains available in their city and serving in their locality. The portal where food chains build tempting menus and inviting deals. Advertisers will place their ads targeting individuals as well as corporate users. The customers can browse through all the food chains from a single place and can decide ‘The Menu for Today, for a week or for a month.

PICG has awarded eTeam a contract to develop a web based online registration and testing system which will be used for its programs. The system will let users to apply for different programs offered by PICG and will be able to give online tests at the end of the course. The system will be developed on latest Web 2.0 standards using ASP.Net and MSSQL.

PICG is involved in training and education, creating awareness, undertaking research, publishing guidelines and other resource material, and provides a forum for discussion on corporate governance.

The Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust (LRBT) awarded eTeam to redesign their website www.lrbt.org.pk on new lines meeting all Web 2.0 Standards. LRBT is providing free eye care in Pakistan for the last 20 years and so far treated over 14 million people for free all over Pakistan making it the biggest facility for eye care and its treatment in Pakistan.

The website project eTeam will develop for LRBT will focus on following main objectives:

1. Website should be inviting and encourage users to donate for LRBT
2. Website should acknowledge donor contributions
3. Website should have easy navigation to let user explore about LRBT and its services

On this project eTeam will be assisted by competent and experienced team of Sidat Hyder one of the largest IT institution in Pakistan.

eTeam has enter into a joint venture agreement with Mobilink and AKN for developing of Edutainment products and Java based applications and games for WAP. In first phase of the project eTeam will be converting 4 volumes of e-Kahaniyain Series for WAP. Mobilink mobile users will be able to download these stories for their children from WAP.

eTeam organised its first picnic for 2008 on 20th April. After lot of deliberation majority of the team agreed to explore deep-sea fishing for a change. Though some of our team members skipped the event for one reason or another - and they were wise to judge as going in deep waters in summers makes you feel like a pregnant women.

Anyway we still managed to enjoy our time looking at beautiful Karachi from the ocean, listening to music and of course fishing! The highlight of the day was Faisal’s catch – the biggest prey in all. We also treated our tummies with deliciously cooked crabs and other home food items while few of us were fighting hard to beat seasickness!

Microsoft Pakistan invited two eTeam development team members to attend a 3 day training titled “SQL Server 2008 Technical Training” conducted by Mark Andrew from South Africa.

The aim of the workshop is to educate IT professionals and technical decision makers on the new features and functionality of SQL Server 2008. This includes server scalability, performance enhancements, security and policy management, data mining and business intelligence. By the end of this workshop, attendees should be familiar with the architecture, features, benefits and implementation considerations for the new functionality in SQL Server 2008.

eTeam nominated Mr. Muhammad Naveed (Sr. Software Developer) and Mr. Muhammad Shakeel (Software Developer) to take part in this training.

After eight months of extensive development effort BTC Sales, Purchase and Inventory system was launched for beta testing in the month of March 2008. The assigned development team worked very hard on the project which extends over 1000 development hours. So far results are very encouraging and system is performing very well without any major issues reported from the client. This beta testing cycle will also continue in the month of April 2008.

Aijazz.com and AijazzAslam.com were launched in the month of March 2008. Both sites are designed using Web 2.0 standards.

This new website will have many new features for customers and Aijazz fans like “Club Aijazz” online club giving instant discount vouchers and other benefits to approved members, online order booking of Aijazz products, dynamic product galleries and latest news about Aijazz brand and Aijaz Aslam as an artist and model.

Aijazz Boutique has awarded eTeam a contract to develop web-based Inventory and Sales System to streamline its retail business by maintain all inventory and sales related records on a centralised database. Both Aijazz outlets and factory will access this database through a secure administrative panel. All inventories will have barcode, which will be entered into the system on each outlet through a simple scan and will be re-entered on sale.

Habib Oil Mills has awarded eTeam contract to develop its corporate and oil brand websites. These websites will be true reflections of HOM’s corporate legacy of over 50 years of successful business in Pakistan and will promote its oil brands to masses by engaging them into different online schemes.

eTeam believes in the culture of promoting healthy competition among its team members by engaging them into different sports and fun related activities. Carom Competition 2007 was the first such activity where everyone took part with great enthusiasm. Khurram and Naveed won this year’s competition by defeating hot favorites Hassan and Faisal in the final. The competition was on league basis were each team played 4 matches and top 4 teams qualified for semi-finals.

This project is being developed by eTeam for association of leading cardiologists of Pakistan headed by Dr. Khawar Kazmi of Liaqat National Hospital and Agha Khan Hospital Karachi. This initiative is also supported by Sanofi-Aventis Pakistan.

Ashar Ali - Senior Multimedia Developer won the first in-house "eGuru" title for his excellent contribution for designing eTeam Corporate ID. Keeping the democratic traditions, this was achieved by winning majority votes.

Fezaan.com is managed by a group of individuals who feel that a little help can go a long way to help the less privileged sections of our society. These committed individuals reach out to friends and relatives to support the club’s charity projects in Pakistan. They work with established and reputed NGOs to execute projects. Currently they are working with The Citizens Foundation, an NGO with more than 220 schools for the less privileged running all over Pakistan to its credit.

To facilitate these efforts and to contribute in this great cause eTeam has rendered its services for making the Fezaan.com a dynamic website with administrative capabilities to update all its sections to provide latest details to its members. These new features will be live by mid of October 2007.

Sheeba’s Play Place was established in the year 2000 with an aim to provide an exclusive and child friendly environment for toddlers to enjoy their first learning experience outside their homes.

Centered around developmentally appropriate and fun activities, The school helps children develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.

eTeam was awarded this project to streamline this process. From registering a child, automating interview process, announcing of admission results, secure parent / schools communication and updating events and photo galleries are main features in this project. This project is scheduled to be live by end of September 2007.

Bilal Trading Company (BTC) deals in the business of metal raw products. eTeam was awarded the contract to rebuild a customized web-based application expanding the functionality to fulfill BTC’s current and future management and business needs.

eTeam (Formerly JTPL) had the privileged to work on this project for PIA for over 5 months. The website’s user interface as well as its screens which runs award accumulation and redemption system were re-designed by eTeam using latest MS technologies. The project was successfully delivered to PIA in January 2007 and is currently live for its customers.

This project was awarded to eTeam by Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates (Pvt.) Ltd. for their client Pak Libya Holding Company. The website is creatively designed in line with PLHC’s corporate guidelines and current marketing campaign.

The website has dynamic functionalities which enable site administrators to manage and update website content without any difficulty.

NCR Pakistan has awarded eTeam (Formerly JTPL Karachi Team) a contract for developing ATM animations for their local and international clients. This work will include conceptualizing the entire ATM campaigns and their execution based on client requirements. The first project is already under production and is due to complete by end of November 2006.
